Hey fellow musicians, I’ve just released the Acoustic Café Songbook online — designed for solo performers, busking and open mic nights. All songs are contained in the Acoustic Café Songbook, scrollable with internal bookmarks, and works beautifully on phone, tablet, or laptop. No internet needed. Add a Bluetooth page turner pedal and you’re set. You can get your copy for $30 Australian Dollars – This works out at about 15 GBP or 17 Euro or $20 USD – a bargain – Enjoy!
Roger Pryor’s Acoustic Cafe Songbook has been created to provide you with a Songbook that you can use all the time; even when you have no internet access. Around 700 songs have been edited and aggregated into a large file that is kept very simple to enable fast load times and quick navigation. Simply find the artist and song that you’d like to play in the alphabetical index and click to go to the song. When you’ve played that song, click the [Top] link to go back to the alphabetical index and choose another song. To create a playlist, find a spare space between 2 song dividers and simple copy and paste song links from the alphabetical index to create set lists or a playlist. This can become an organic songbook that can grow to suit your needs.
So, what do you get?
The Songbook has been created as a Word document which is intended to be organic in that you can easily cut and paste song artist/title links into other spaces within the document to create set lists etc. Or, simply use to quickly locate songs in the alphabetical index, click the link and go direct to the chart for the song, within the same document, no internet access needed. Yes, this is something you could create yourself, but do you have that time available? While simple, the navigation has been set up to consume very little processing power and therefor should allow you to move between songs easily and to easily respond to requests. I’ve created this to help me keep playing and performing in a range of settings. And, it contains around 700 songs.
It had been priced to make it easy for you to own but also to provide some benefit in return for the work of creating the Songbook and all of its links etc. If you find the Songbook useful then please pass on this purchase link to friends or others that you know will be interested.
