Roger specialises in acoustic covers of songs that are usually instantly recognisable and presents them using professional sound equipment and a background from many years performing in clubs, pubs and at functions including weddings, private parties, harbour cruises and conference dinners. Roger can cover a wide variety of songs and group them by theme or style or present an eclectic mix. Roger brings the wealth of a lifetime soundtrack to your special event. Songs from across the decades to the present day with the option to customise sets to suit your needs. Roger began his professional music career in Newcastle in the 70s, performing in stage productions, as a support act for visiting artists and as a resident acoustic soloist at ‘The Wine Bar’ in Hamilton.
Solo residencies followed in pubs and wine bars in Sydney. Roger returned to the band scene on the Central Coast in the 90s and then played solo and in duos at hundreds of gigs on the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley as an agency managed artist.
Roger has now taken on the challenge of presenting acoustic versions of songs using guitar and vocal only. Check out the online request list to see the range of possibilities available.
